There's no cookie-cutter definition of a teacher. We have different backgrounds, training and experiences. What we have in common is the passion that we bring to the classroom.
Kath is an educator. She has taught secondary maths in the UK, and English and maths as a volunteer in Sri Lanka, India, Thailand, Uganda and Rwanda. She has also run teacher training programmes in India, Thailand and Rwanda. She is a qualified Ballroom dance teacher. She has a passion for helping teachers to help students and nothing makes her happier than the excitement and joy of learning!
Rosie Bufton MA is a dramatherapist and mental health practitioner. While working in Sri Lanka she drew from her theatrical training to develop students' conversational English skills. She has since moved into mental health and supports vulnerable people across a range of sectors including health, voluntary and education as an individual and group facilitator, and dramatherapist.
